Palmanova-Magaluf

Palmanova and Magaluf are on Majorca’s southeast coast and are part of Calvià. The Poniente motorway links them to the capital, Palma, 12 miles away and to the airport, providing access to both in only a few minutes.

Palmanova and Magaluf almost meet and are separated only by the small Torrenova peninsula where the Torre de Sa Porrassa is located some 40m above sea level.

Palmanova has three beaches: Es Carregador, Playa de Palmanova and Son Maties, flanked by the pines and palm trees of the Paseo Maritimo coastal promenade.
Palmanova and Magaluf are, like the other centres of population in the municipality, linked by the “Paseo Calvià”, the “Calvià Walk”, a broad tree-lined path for pedestrians and cyclists with children’s play areas at intervals along it

Only 2 miles away is Capdellà, a small country manor in the shadow of the Galatzó mountain, a 1026 metre peak particularly recommended for its beautiful walks.

With its 14 Million m2, the Galatzó country estate is one of the largest fincas on the Balearic Islands. The "finca" has an impressive array of archaeological sites, mainly from the pre-talayotic and talayotic periods.
