Palmanova and Magaluf enjoy a privileged location next to beautiful beaches, most of which have been awarded the blue flag. All of them have showers, toilets and foot-washing areas.
The Palmanova and Son Maties beaches have special areas for the handicapped and disabled: each measures some 100 m², with walkways, awning, raised platform and disabled toilet. Amphibious chairs (2 at each beach) and crutches are also available.
Es Carregador: Located to the east of the Palmanova Paseo del Mar, this beach is bordered by the Club Nautico and Punta Marroig.
Palmanova: Running from Punta Marroig to Punta Nadala this beach is among those offering the widest range of facilities.
Son Maties: Located between Punta Nadala and the Torrenova peninsula. Despite being the most open of the beaches it is protected from the wind and the water here is always calm.
Son Caliu: Little cove just 0,7 miles from Palmanova.
Magaluf: The largest in the area, with fine white sand. Visitors enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Cala Viñas: 1,24 mile south of Magaluf it is located in a secluded cove surrounded by pine trees.
Portals Vells: The coast road from Magaluf towards Santa Ponça follows a narrow path through pine forests and leads to three small beaches with crystal clear water, each accessed by a separate path. Portals Vells I, Portals Vells II ( El Mago) and Portal Vells III ( Playa del Rey).
There are also many small coves and beaches in the surrounding area that are virtually unspoilt and accessible only on foot or by boat (Caló de la bella Dona, Cala Falcó).
